The Trusted Tradesmen website first went live on 01 August 2004, offering it's visitors an opportunity to submit and read reviews of work carried out by tradespeople throughout the United Kingdom. Version 2 still offers the same facility to it's visitors but in addition now boasts a whole new set of features designed to help you, the consumer make the right choice when deciding on who to employ for the work and maintenance of your home and business.
The Trusted Trademen vision is to bridge the gap between the consumer and the tradesperson. In addition to providing the consumer with a free of charge resource for 'Self Vetting' and a 'read / submit review service' we also provide facilities for the tradeperson to put their views across also.
Our Forum has proved very popular with those within the trade. This provides the tradesperson and consumer alike with an opportunity to communicate on issues within a semi-controlled environment without the need for face to face confrontation.

After much market research, the public have told us that they would much prefer to employ a tradesperson as a result of recommendation as opposed to relying on services that offer a central vetting facility as there is still a chance that their opinion might not quite come up to your own standards.
Trusted Tradesmen offers you, the consumer a chance to read reviews that other consumers have submitted, and in addition provides free advice that can be used by you to 'Self Vet' in advance.
This provides you with a two pronged initiative to find the right person for the job:
1. Search for reviews of the tradespeople you have shortlisted.
2. Read our self vetting guide , ask the right questions and proceed to employing the person you feel conforms to the standards you expect.
WE ADVISE YOU DO NOT: Trawl through business directories pick the company behind the most impressive looking advert and take a chance on the strength of a first impression.
